prosthetic limb

Life often becomes a burden for physically challenged, as they have to rely on others to accomplish their day-to-day activities. Making life a bit easy for the disabled, designer Mark Nagley has redesigned a prosthetic limb to enhance the lives of amputees, enabling greater functionality and aesthetics as compared to contemporary prosthetic technology. Featuring a functional design supported by an elbow brace and vinyl support brace, together with holding platform, terminal device and a hinge scoop, the new prosthetic arm helps in carrying out everyday, common tasks, from household work to shopping and even reading a book, making life easy and self-reliant for the user.
