A beefy iPhone/iPod speaker docking station is ready for your parties. Behringer has uncovered the heavy Backyard Blaster music docking system to work with your iPod or iPhone. The docking station is designed in form of a carry-on suitcase with a retractable handle and wheels in the bottom to transport it easily.
The Behringer Backyard Blaster speaker system is a bit smaller than a travel suitcase. But its form helps users easily move the system from one place to the other. You can just pull or drag it like a suitcase to your party locations. The entire front part of the device covers a large speaker, which can amplify the voice from your music sources.
Interestingly, the Backyard Blaster is a rugged product. Even if you drag it over small staircases and rough places, it won’t have any harms. The built-in battery is yet another peculiarity of the Backyard Blaster. According to Behringer, the docking station can last for 12 hours of use on a single recharge. Well, you can listen to amplified music for 12 continuous hours, of course, for an entire party.
The speaker docking station is customized to mount an iPhone or iPod. However, it can stream from an iPad, Android products or any other music sources thanks to an auxiliary audio input. The system comes with an integrated microphone also. Price and availability details of the Backyard Blaster are not exposed. Behringer has put it on display at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
