Inspired by Marie Antoinette, Cate & Nelson are launching Antoinette, a new covered chair that also functions as a room divider.

This privacy seating takes its shape from a corset-like structure covered in a translucent fabric that offers discretion without cutting the user off from the surrounding action. This layer is held in place by a belt that accentuates the femininity of the piece.

Although large enough to shield one from the hustle and bustle of the quotidian, Antoinette can be disassembled easily or stacked away when not in use. Antoinette is currently being shown at the Stockholm Furniture Fair.
