Protos Residence by ICV arquitectura
by Mike / April 21, 2010
From ICV Arquitectura, a house in Veracruz, Mexico by architects Carlos Villegas Avila and Juan P. Sanchez with a view of the Gulf of Mexico.
"The building owns two personalities that contrast, which is observed in the difference of its facades, one of them mostly designed to be seen from the inside, giving all the importance to the views of the sea, whereas the second facade was designed to be seen from the outside."
"The main concept was to achieve making the form and the structure as one piece, and by request of the client, all the spaces connect, which is why we chose long terraces in the main facade as a semi-public space to share all the spaces with family and friends."
